This is the second year for the Overdrive Z Rap Jr and we're glad it's still around. It is a great alternative to the Chameleon Junior if you are looking for a functional hiking shoe with more style versatility. It will perform for an everyday shoe for going to school or the park while at the same time have the function to take on the big hills. Like the Chameleon it has a breathable soft mesh upper closes with a self-adjusting, single-tug elastic Z-Rap strap. The upper is all synthetic so if you think the shoes are going to be subjected to lots of water or you like an easier washing than this is a great option. We love this color for not showing dirt as much. EVA Merrell Air Cushion midsole cushions the ride; non-marking Chameleon Jr cupsole has multi-directional gripping from Octogrip tread.
