Saddle hunters are often forced to choose between comfort and simplicity. Many mid-range saddles sacrifice support, creating pressure points, side pinch, and limited adjustability, while premium systems add bulk, complexity, and cost.
Arsenal™ developed the CLOUD™ FLEXX Saddle to eliminate this trade-off.
Expandable FLEXX Side Panels
Dynamic Load Response Without Side Pinch
Traditional saddle panels tend to collapse inward under suspension load, concentrating pressure along the hips and outer thighs as body weight shifts throughout a sit. That inward compression creates the side pinch and pressure fatigue many hunters accept as unavoidable in lightweight saddle systems.
The FLEXX Side Panel architecture was engineered with an expandable elastic perimeter that actively responds to load rather than resisting it. As tension increases, the panel geometry expands and articulates with the hunter’s body position, allowing the saddle to maintain a broader support profile instead of collapsing into high-pressure contact zones.
This adaptive load management creates a noticeably more balanced suspension feel with reduced hip compression, improved seated comfort, and greater positional freedom during long-duration hunts.
Optional Spreader Bar System
Structural Geometry That Maintains the “Triangle of Comfort”
Most flexible saddle platforms lose structural shape once fully weighted, allowing support zones to narrow and destabilize under load. As the panel collapses inward, pressure distribution becomes inconsistent, reducing long-term comfort and forcing constant micro-adjustments in the tree.
The optional fiberglass spreader bar system was developed to preserve the saddle’s intended support geometry under suspension. By maintaining panel width and structural separation across upper and lower support zones, the system helps sustain Arsenal’s “Triangle of Comfort” — a balanced load-distribution architecture designed to stabilize body position while minimizing concentrated pressure buildup.
The result is a saddle that maintains its ergonomic support structure throughout extended sits, improving lower-body support, reducing fatigue accumulation, and creating a more planted, controlled feel while suspended.
Cloud™ Comfort Chassis
Broad-Surface Suspension Engineering
Many lightweight saddles prioritize minimalism at the expense of proper load distribution, creating narrow support zones that fatigue the hips and lower back over time. As suspension pressure becomes
concentrated into smaller contact areas, hunters are forced to reposition more frequently to remain comfortable.
The Cloud™ Comfort Chassis was engineered around broad-surface load distribution principles that allow the saddle to support the body more evenly across key contact zones. Instead of relying on isolated suspension points, the chassis architecture disperses force through a larger ergonomic footprint designed to stabilize the hunter while reducing localized pressure buildup.
This creates a more neutral suspension posture that feels supportive rather than restrictive, allowing hunters to remain comfortable, steady, and
focused during extended sits in the tree.
